BHM Events - The Final Week

Hello everybody and welcome to our last week of BHM events!

We were hoping to have still two other events for you (that weren't a part of the BHM brochure) but, alas they are not going to happen... during October.

So keep dipping into our blog... maybe in november or december we will have some more events for you!

(we're on the process of sorting out new dates for these events)


Thursday 29th October
African and Caribbean Healthy Living Day

10am – 3pm.
Nettlefold Hall

Diabetes UK are hosting a free African and Caribbean Healthy Living Day open to those with diabetes and those at risk of diabetes on. Talks will be given on diabetes; stroke and heart disease with a healthy Caribbean cook and eat session run by Chef Barrington Palmer.

Saturday 31st October - NOT TAKING PLACE
The Lambeth Quilt – Our Quilt
1pm – 3pm Nettlefold Hall
Lambeth Libraries and Lambeth Arts will be hosting a series of intergenerational workshops in October to create a reminiscence quilt that reflects and records the diversity and history of Lambeth.
Sessions will take place on Saturdays through October starting Saturday 3rd October, 1pm – 3pm Nettlefold Lower Hall.

(the Quilt Project will continue in November though at this point we're still unsure if it will resume in the Lower Hall here at The Nettlefold or in West Norwood Library's Exhibition Room. I'll post any changes/dates as soon as I know. Cheers!)
